What professional achievements am I proud of?

While it’s impossible to summarize everything i’ve worked on in my corporate experiences, here’s a highlight reel of some of favorite moments.

Masters in Management from Harvard

Management is the art of integrating who is doing what -with what needs to be done. My degree enables me to understand impact, leverage best practices, and enhance collaboration. I also completed a certification in Strategic Leadership while pursuing this degree in Boston. PS: attending classes on Harvard’s campus = storybook vibes.

Being invited for a corporate video shoot

After being recognized for my ability to eloquently summarize points, and articulately express abstract concepts concretely – yes I’m trying to be loquacious – just for fun =), I was invited to participate in a corporate video shoot

Influencing Product Roadmap

Clients are always sharing what they wish we did differently in our product – and this information is a gold mine of data, more specifically it is a gold mine on the pulse of what our clients care about. Listening intently to pains, identify trends and reporting them to the product team is a daily practice; but then working with the product team to prioritize the pipeline, that’s where things got really fun.

Identify Client Needs

From engaging in discovery calls, to performing pain point analysis while documenting uses cases; accurately painting the picture on why a client is interested in the product, what they hope to accomplish, and their constraints is the most accurate way to ensure alignment. But this isn’t a one time process, rather a mindset that I use to gauge my interaction with clients every time we connect.

Value Driven Product Demonstrations

In my tenure as a Pre-Sales Engineer, I have conducted over 200+ product presentations anchored in story telling and value differentiation over simple function displays – click here, get there – demonstrations; resulting in 30+ new logo deals, and over $6Million in revenue.

POC’s & Implementations

A successful implementation relies on a successful hands on experience during the POC. My approach to pilot’s involves just enough hand holding that the client doesn’t feel lost within a new system, and just enough space to explore so they feel empowered to create value on their own. Striking the balance requires relationship management skills, as well as technical acumen to essential “teach the teacher”.

Training Content

I love being in a facilitation or teaching role; that’s why I’m the first person to volunteer to help Learning and Enablement team members with creating video recordings of products, short snippets on how to use the tool, or putting together “how-to” documentation with screenshots to make it easy for the clients to understand. My secret to create easy to follow content? Employing a beginners mind and asking myself – “If I saw this tool for the first time, what would I need to know to not get overwhelmed?”

Hosting Webinars

Webinars are another way of creating conversation and learning around a topic, especially industry trends (AI & Sustainability anyone?). But they are also a great way to learn how to package your content for maximum impact to an audience you can’t engage with live. Unlike a demo or in-person speaking event, webinars tend to be presented into the “void.” This is a challenging experience from a behavioral perspective, after all if I can’t gauge your body language with what I’m sharing, how do I make my delivery effective and persuasive? This is a challenge for creativity and communication as much as content and delivery.

Creating Marketing Collateral

One of my favorite requests came form the Marketing team asking me to make gifs that showcase a new product feature we’ve released. Why? So they could embed this into email campaigns; the catch: I only had 3-5 seconds and a tiny box to get my point across. My response? Challenge accepted baby.
